Join us at Ealing Picturehouse in Filmworks, Ealing Broadway with your clothes mending pile. We will in the upstairs in the cafe & bar area with our sewing equipment. Come along for chatting, fixing and learning how to mend our clothes.All levels of sewing welcome, from beginners to advance sewers, there’s always something new to share or learn. We will have patching and darning guides, sewing equipment, mending books and samples to inspire you.
Bring along 1 or 2 items of clothes that need mending for some helpful suggestions from our volunteers on how to fix your items. Our volunteers will be there to teach you how to mend. Or just come along for company while you mend your clothes.
All levels of sewing welcome, from beginners to advance, there's always something new to share or learn. We bring along our sewing equipment, samples, books, fabric scraps and our sewing machines.
We ask for a small donation, £4 for the session to cover costs of equipment and expenses.
