Join Ealing Repair Cafe on Sunday 21 September from 2.00 pm until 4.00 pm at Ealing Central library, in Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre for upcycling and mending.
2-3 pm: Family Activity: You can also make your own bracelet or key charm out of old t-shirts. It’s so simple all the family can make one too. If you have some unloved t-shirts, please bring them along to donate.
3-4 pm: Mend and Natter: Bring your clothes mending pile to learn and be inspired how to mend them. Ealing Repair cafe will teach you how to repair and upcycle your clothes. They will have samples, sewing equipment to get you started and help you breathe new life into your wardrobe.
Whether you're a seasoned pro or a complete beginner at sewing and mending, there's something for everyone. Don't miss out on this opportunity to get creative and sustainable with your fashion choices.
Bring along any clothes that need mending for some helpful suggestions from our volunteers on how to fix your items.
We ask for a small donation, £4 for the session to cover costs of equipment and expenses.
