Our NYs picnic and BBQ was so great in 2024 that we’re doing it again! 👏There is no potluck at the Apartment in January 2025, so to make up for it we are celebrating the start of a new year and the middle of summer by having a new years summer picnic & bbq! 🌻
Come join us for a nice outdoor catch up to enjoy the sun, company and great kai. 🧺
Woodhaugh gardens is an awesome spot. The picnic/bbq area is sheltered and contains a barbeque cooking facility (push button, no charge), toilets, picnic areas, paddling pool (filled in summer) and playground nearby - we have booked the area with DCC, but BBQs are first come, first served. It is a great area for families, so bring your kids along! 🛝
We will bring our gazebo so there is shade if you need it, and our trestle table to serve the kai on. It will be like all other potlucks - bring something vegan to share! It can be ready to eat, or you can cook something up on the BBQs, which are free to use. 👌
Things to bring:
🌞Your picnic blankets and/or fold out chairs
🌞 Your own plate/cutlery
🌞 Sunblock and a hat (slip, slop, slap & wrap guys!)
🌞 Your kai to share
🌞 Your beautiful selves, friends and family!
See the picture in the event of where to find the BBQ area if you haven't been there before. There is lots of on street parking around Woodhaugh gardens to park. 🚗
