Enjoy a gathering of Sonideros. Sonideros are barrio DJs that emerged in the late 1960s and early 70s in Mexico City. Their main purpose is to host dances in working-class neighborhoods for people who could not afford to pay the high prices of dance halls. Sonideros are responsible for the popularity of Colombian music, including Cumbia and other dance styles from Latin America. Participants include: Sonidero "La "Rumba". Lead Sonidero: Luis Noriega.

Founded by the son of Cuban and Salvadoran immigrants, Latin Gold Records is an online record store and pop-up based in Los Angeles that specializes in Latin music and also curates everything that moves you, from rock to soul, funk to punk world to weird, and all the notes in between.
