Día De Los Muertos Cacao Ceremony

Join us for an evening of ritual by connecting with the plant spirit of Cacao and sacred sound to help us align our connection with our ancestors. Cacao has been used in ritual and ceremony by many ancient cultures in MesoAmerica for centuries. Through storytelling and open sharing, Florencia will guide us through the background, current uses, personal experience, benefits of Cacao, and the indigenous cultures she has been mentoring under to help us embody the teachings Cacao has to offer. We will then dive into a meditation and sound experience to deepen our relationship with our ancestors. You will also receive invitations on how to create an ancestor altar at home to honor those who have come before you.

Florencia Fridman is passionate about supporting the voices of indigenous nations, wisdom keepers, and guardians of the sacred lands. She works with the Mayan tradition from Guatemala and the Sapara Nation of Ecuador. She shares her passion for Theobroma Cacao through education and ceremony globally. Florencia has opened for Deepak Chopra, has facilitated ceremonies for the corporate world at Spotify, Morgan Stanley, Google, and has been a guest to teach at NYU.

Florencia is the co-founder of Cacao Laboratory, a Ceremonial Cacao brand aiming to bring awareness of a regenerative world through the voice of Cacao. She is also the founder of Florecer Community, bridging modern and ancient wisdom to create a more beautiful world our hearts know is possible.

Our mission is to preserve the wisdom of ancient botany through fresh and vibrant medicinal botanical formulas. We offer a variety of workshops and ceremonies in our healing garden oasis at 417 Rose Ave in Venice California.

We provide a safe space for local healers and creators to teach + share their magic with the Anima Mundi community. Our events range from herbalism courses, cacao ceremonies, to lunar rituals, sound and meditation journeys, numerology/tarot readings, and even late night tea lounge experiences.
