Trunk or Treat Halloween Do-Over: A Celebration for Kids of All Ages
Join us for a special Halloween event that promises to bring joy and festive fun to children of all ages who missed Halloween celebrations due to illness or other obstacles. The Trunk or Treat Halloween Do-Over will be held on November 9, 2024, from 11:00AM - 12:30PM at Salem Church Middle School, and is free of charge.
This community-driven event aims to offer a second chance for families to experience the magic of Halloween. Children and families can enjoy trick or treating from creatively decorated trunks and indulge in Halloween treats in an environment less chaotic than many Halloween activities.
We understand that some families, like ours, face challenges that prevent them from fully enjoying Halloween activities. Our goal is to ensure that every child, every person, has the opportunity to celebrate Halloween in a safe, supportive and joyful environment. Come and be yourself! Wear a second costume, get tons of treats, or wear just typical clothing and spin in circles, it's all ok here.
In the spirit of giving back, the event will collect donations to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities, providing support to families with children facing serious health challenges.
This event is designed to be a joyful experience for all families, providing a welcoming space for those who missed out on Halloween celebrations.
We encourage people from the community to come with decorated trunks and give out both candy and non-food items for kids to enjoy. If you have a business that would like to participate in this event, please reach out! We can find ways for you to make a difference.
