Dying Matters Week connects people across Aotearoa to start conversations in a safe space, learn from local experts and seek support to plan for later life and end-of-life and to navigate grief and loss.
Dying Matters Week will occur throughout the Wellington Region with different events occuring over the week. Dying Matters to us all because, it will happen to us all. How it happens and how we deal with it can make the biggest difference to both us and the people who love and care for us. This week is designed to expand the conversation and provide information and resources to enable all of us to be empowered around death and not to be frightened of it. Individual events will be featured on this page with details about how to access each event.
