Manawa: AHIAHI

Haere mai e te whānau to our debut gig for Manawa: AHIAHI.
Ahiahi, the shift from sun into evening, is a time for us to gather and kanikani the night away, celebrating the birth of our collective and the community that is at the heart of it.
Join us for a night with the artists at the core of Manawa, taking you all on a journey to the inner morning:
Queenie
Clydesdale
Releaf
__________
Manawa is a collective based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara, Aotearoa that celebrates the creativity, community, and diversity within underground electronic music.
In te reo Māori, Manawa refers to pulse, heart, breath and patience. It is the emotional, spiritual and physical centre of a person, where aroha is held and expressed.
We open the space as a collective to focus on a shared experience through dance and rhythm, shaping the energy in the room and our relationship with one another.
We aim to remove walls between genres and people, curating journeys that evoke curiosity, self-expression and connection on the dance floor, while exploring the never ending depths of underground music.
