Join us for a Beginner Duplicate Stitch class on October 30, 2025 at 5:00-6:00 pm. Instructor: Tanzy Ackerman, owner Door County Alpaca Ranch. We will be stitching a lovely pumpkin.
Duplicate Stitch, or Swiss Darning as it is sometimes called, is a decorative stitch usually worked over stockinette stitch. You will have an amazing opportunity to learn how to turn any boring stockinette stitch fabric into a piece of your own art.
Experience required: Knitting/sewing/crafting experience is not required for this class.
Supplies provided: A handknit/handmade "canvas", yarn, tapestry needle, and the pattern for a pumpkin will be provided.
