Duos & Trios Intensive with Wine and Weasels

Class Time/Dates: 10:00am-5:00pm on Saturday and Sunday // May 2-3

Schedule: 2 sessions

Class size: 12 students maximum

Prerequisite: Foundation 4 or equivalent experience.

Duos and trios are electric. With fewer players, you’re always on. The work is intimate, connected, and deeply rewarding.

Join as an existing duo or trio ready to strengthen your act, or sign up solo and we’ll build a small group for you. (Regardless, you'll sign up individually--there will be a field to mark down if you're in a group or solo!) If you already perform together, bring the form you’re developing/exploring. We’re here to help you build on your strengths and refine what makes your work distinct.

Over two days, we’ll focus on:

• Clarifying the form each group wants to explore
• Keeping the stage hot with a smaller cast
• Fluid, dynamic transitions
• Shared point of view and rhythm
• Emotional range and escalation
  

You’ll get dedicated time to workshop your concept, sharpen structure, and receive direct, specific feedback.

Leave with a clearer format, stronger chemistry, and notes you can take straight to the stage.

Susie Sargent and Jerry Ruoti are the Bay Area duo Wine & Weasels. They perform locally and have appeared at festivals and theaters nationwide, including Rise Comedy Festival (Denver), Third Coast Comedy (Nashville), Countdown Improv Festival (Tampa), and SAVIfest (Mesa). Their work blends character, emotional truth, and bold play.

We have community standards, a conflict process, and a COVID prevention policy in place. Agreement/acceptance of these policies is required to participate in BATS classes. BATS Improv Class Refund Policy

All class sales are final. In the event we cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment, we’ll refund your tuition in full.
