Welcome Back Blue Jays Golf Cart Parade

Event Description: Dunedin Goes Carting is excited to celebrate the return of the Blue Jays with a spectacular Golf Cart Parade! Bring your creativity, community spirit, and Blue Jays pride for a day full of fun and festivities.

Event Details:

• Date: Saturday, February 14th
• Staging Time: 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM
• Parade Start Time: 12:30 PM

Parade Route: The route begins at the parking lot on New York Ave/Virginia St, goes through Mease Manor, down Main St, and ends at the TD Ballpark lot. Special parking is reserved at TD Ballpark for carts that have participated in the parade. Please follow the carts all the way to the end and into the special parking area.

Schedule:

• 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM: Staging begins at the parking lot on New York Ave/Virginia St (see map). Please do not arrive early as our volunteers will not have the lot open until 11:00.
• 12:30 PM: Parade begins. Carts will leave the parking lot on New York Ave/Virginia and follow the designated route. Parade participants must stay in the parade and keep pace with other carts. Please do not stop or leave your cart during the parade.

• Free hot dogs
• Live Music
• Games
• Prizes and Giveaways from Local Vendors
• Photo Opportunities on the Field
• And Much More!!

Golf Cart Participation: (you must stay with your cart for the winner announcement in the Blue Jays parking lot so you can take your victory lap inside the stadium)

• Decorate your cart with the best Blue Jays-themed decorations.
• Top 3 decorated carts win exciting prizes.
• Winners take a victory lap inside the stadium.

Registration Details:

• Registration is free.
• Register in advance to receive a QR code ticket.
• Affix the QR code ticket to your windshield for entry into the staging area.
• Non-registered carts or carts without visible QR codes will be redirected offsite to complete registration and agree to event guidelines.

Event Guidelines:

• No throwing items from carts.
• No confetti cannons.
• No food or drinks will be served during staging. Food and drinks will be available after the parade at the TD Ballpark.
