Presenting DTES PRIDE 2026! Saturday August 8th from 12-6pm at the Balmoral Lot followed by the after party at Brandiz.
Expect a phenomenal showcase of Indigenous poets and spoken word artists M'itlaa/Miish and Poppa Nuge, an episode of the hilariously entertaining and informative drag show called Burning The Bannock by Two-Spirit United, followed by not ONE but TWO headliners: Prado Monroe and Mama Rude Gyal.
Smokey D and GURL23 will take you on an art tour of the DTES where you will get a view of the official DTES PRIDE mural, and the fun doesn't stop till 1am at Brandiz where there will be a vendors market, open dex featuring local emerging 2SLGBTQIA+ DJs and the grand finale of the DAME DJs: DJ ANGLE, Ember Sparxx, DJ Denise, and Marcella.
The daytime event is free, outdoors, and open to all while the afterparty is ticketed ($18) 19+ event.
