What Is Dry Needling?
Think of your muscles like a rubber band. When they're healthy, they stretch and snap back easily. But when a muscle gets overworked or injured, it can get stuck in a tight, knotted up position and stay there.
That knot is called a trigger point. It cuts off blood flow, fires pain signals, and limits your movement sometimes for months or even years.
Dry needling goes straight to the source. A very thin needle is guided directly into that knot, causing the muscle to twitch and release like a reset button being pressed. Blood flows back in, the pain signals quiet down, and the muscle can move freely again.
It's called "dry" needling because there's no medicine involved just the needle waking up your body's own healing system.
Most people feel a difference within 24–48 hours.
