On Saturday, September 19, 2026, the Kokomo Native Initiative will present "Drums Along the Wildcat," a publicly accessible Native American gathering at Foster Park in Kokomo, Indiana.
Now in its third year, "Drums Along the Wildcat" will again feature Native drums, dancers, vendors, and food. Local nonprofit agencies and services will be on hand to answer questions and share information both for Native residents and the community at large.
The gathering is sponsored by the Kokomo Native Initiative, a collaboration between the City of Kokomo, the Kokomo Early History Learning Center, the Howard County Historical Society, and Indiana University Kokomo.
This event is sponsored in part by the City of Kokomo and the Community Foundation Serving Howard, Clinton, and Carroll Counties.
