Join us for an afternoon and evening packed with excitement, featuring African drumming and dance ensemble drumming, body percussion workshops, students performance and delicious African food and Chai Tea in Castlemaine!
We’re thrilled to bring one more time to the community MAMBA NEGRA, who will share their magic and high-energy West African rhythms that will have you on your feet dancing.
Our talented local drum teacher and percussionist, **Gianni Boragine**, will highlight the impressive skills of his students on stage. The dedicated crew from Castlemaine, Bendigo, and Daylesford have prepared an amazing repertoire just for you to enjoy, showcasing their hard work and passion for music.
We have **SPECIAL GUESTS**! The incredible Drummergirl, **Simone Lang**, and her talented students from Woodend will grace the stage for us on this fantastic night. They’ll share their amazing skills and positive energy, bringing even more good vibes to the evening.
Join us for the **TAKETINA Body Percussion Workshop**! Our beloved Charlotte Roberts will bring her infectious energy, engaging spirit, and amazing body percussion skills to share with everyone. This interactive workshop invites all participants to flow with the rhythm and experience the joy of making music together through movement. Don’t miss this chance to connect with the beat and each other in a truly unique way!
Grab your drum and join us for an fantastic **DRUM CIRLE** to close out the night in style! Let’s create some magic together!
