We're partnering with the Ingham County Shariff's Office to take back unused prescription medication from the community.
Our drive-through drug take-back event will be held Thursday, Oct. 29, from 3 to 6 p.m. at our Okemos office (4100 Okemos Road, Okemos) at our front visitors' parking loop.
Controlled substances including pain relievers, antidepressants, sleep aids, behavior modification medicine, pet medication and cough medicine will be accepted during the event, no questions asked.
Anyone dropping off medications should black out or remove personal information from the packaging.
