After-School Workshop: The Art of Urban Planning with Drop Thought Kids!
Calling all young designers and problem-solvers aged 9–12! Join us this fall for an exciting 8-week workshop where we dive into the art and science of urban planning.
From understanding how cities are designed to creating blueprints, maps, and working models, students will explore what makes a city run smoothly—and what happens when it doesn’t!
They’ll learn how to:
- Use mapping skills to plan functional spaces
- Create blueprints and 3D structures
- Tackle traffic flow and public spaces
- Design and test electric circuits to light up their cities
This workshop blends STEAM learning, critical thinking, and creativity in a hands-on format that encourages teamwork, innovation, and fun!
