Join us on Wednesday, 14 January for beautiful rescue flowers and good vibes at Helsingin Kahvipaahtimo's Päiväkahvibaari in Teurastamo.
FloweRescue ry is hosting a drop-in, donation bouquet making session on the evening of Wednesday, 14.1 at 16:30. We'll continue until all the flowers are tied into bouquets, probably until around 18:00.
Stop by, learn about *rescue flowers* and how to make bouquets, and prepare a bouquet to donate to a resident at a nearby care home.
All ages and abilities welcome! No previous flower experience necessary.
*A "rescue flower" is a flower which, because of age or damage, cannot be sold but can be cleaned up and remain beautiful for a few days. We'll have cleaned and sorted the flowers the night before, keeping only the best ones for this workshop. And all the bouquets we make will be donated the next day to a Helsinki-area care home. I’m
