Join us for the Drew Carpenter Memorial Golf Tournament, hosted by the WVU at Parkersburg Foundation, on Saturday, September 13 at Worthington Golf Course in Parkersburg. Tee time begins at 8 a.m., and registration is $200 per team of four. Lunch will be catered by the Carpenter family.
This special event honors the life and legacy of Drew Carpenter, who served as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at WVU Parkersburg until his passing in 2023. Drew was deeply passionate about education and truly loved sharing his knowledge of math with his students. He made a lasting impact on the campus community, and this tournament is a way for friends, colleagues and community members to come together in his memory.
All proceeds from the event will benefit a scholarship fund established in Drew’s name, helping future WVU Parkersburg students pursue their education.
