About this Event

One Year. Still No Action

On March 27, 2025, the Ontario Human Rights Commission released The Dreams Delayed report, confirming systemic anti-Black racism in Ontario’s education system and outlining 29 required actions.

Nearly one year later, Ontario’s Minister of Education, Paul Calandra, has still not released a public implementation plan, timelines, or clear accountability for acting on the report.

Parents are done waiting.

On March 25, Parents of Black Children Canada (PoBC) will hold a formal press conference inside Queen’s Park, while families and supporters gather outside to show solidarity and demand action.

What This Event Includes

Public Parent & Community Gathering (Outside Queen’s Park)
Come stand with families, community members, and allies as we demand action for Black students.

Press Conference (Inside Queen’s Park – Not Open to the Public)
The press conference will take place in the Queen’s Park media studio. The public cannot enter—but you can watch live.

We will share the livestream link with all registered attendees and we will also stream on PoBC Instagram Live so families can watch in real time.

  • Your voice and your community

IMPORTANT: The press conference takes place inside the Queen’s Park media studio and is not open to the public.
