About this Event

Get Ready for the 2026 Spring Festival!

Dreaming Out Loud's spring festival promises to be a joyful community celebration bringing together food lovers, volunteers, donors, and community members as we welcome the new growing season. Featuring live music, entertainment, farming activities, a step & repeat picture station, local crafters, scrumptious food options, and more, this family friendly event will take place at the Farm at Kelly Miller. Celebrate the arrival of Spring while experiencing a deep appreciation for the breathtaking farm and farmers who tirelessly work to nourish the community.

ABOUT DREAMING OUT LOUD
DOL was founded in response to the educational and economic disparities facing communities’ in Washington, DC, and the realization that an inequitable and unsustainable food system was at the core of these challenges. As a result, DOL is rebuilding urban, community-based food systems through cooperative social enterprise. Essentially, it performs this by increasing access to healthy food, improving community health, supporting entrepreneurs and cooperatives from low-income communities, and creating opportunities for at-risk residents to earn sustainable, family-supporting wages. DOL believes that all communities deserve equal access to fresh, healthy food choices and that achieving this requires moving beyond the “access” paradigm to a focus on community self-determination and food sovereignty.
