Dream Workshop with Blue Lotus Ceremony & Sound Activation

Have you ever had a moment where a dream gave you the feeling of pure magic? Where perhaps you felt there was something more to life than we know it? Or maybe you felt the deep connection with a loved one who is no longer with us on this plane? Or you did something fantastic like flying?!

Dreams are the most natural way for us to connect with a deeper sense of self, the subconscious realm, and what we call the Astral Plane. It's truly incredible what can unfold when we develop skills to remember, record, and work with the content from our dreams.

Is it easy? No.

Can it bring up emotional and triggering content? Yes.

Do dreams often provide us with content to catalyze our life for the better? Absolutely.

Does working with dreams remind us of the magic that exists well beyond what we're used to in normal waking consciousness? Yes!

There is a vast and largely unexplored world of wildly creative experiences that occur nightly for us.

There are ways in which to develop skills, mindsets, and practices to bring this incredible and diverse astral experience into our daily life and to work with the information in ways that are expansive to our souls.

With over 20 years of consistent and evolutionary dream practice, Taragápe has distilled his practice into practical and accessible methods that, when implemented with care and consistency, act as gateways into the magical, expansive, peculiar, provocative, intuitive, and awe-inspiring realm of dreams.

In addition to utilizing the profoundly supportive energetics of The StarHouse itself, we will also be bringing in two of the dream states' most potent allies: Blue Lotus and Sound.

Blue Lotus is one of the most high frequency plants on the planets, signified by its gorgeous violet-colored flower petals. It originates from central and northern Africa, growing along the Nile River banks and was cultivated in sacred temple lakes, revered by Kings and Priestesses of the time (and beyond).

Blue Lotus is both subtly energizing and sedative. It supports with divination and intuition and aids in connecting with the dreamworld, and in particular, lucid dreaming (which we will cover in the workshop). It helps align us with our higher selves.

We will imbibe Blue Lotus ceremonially in the form of tea. It is non-psychoactive and of course, optional.

Intentionally curated sound has the ability to shift our brainwaves into states that more closely resemble the brainwave frequencies as we enter into sleep. Taragápe will lead us in a meditative dream recall practice with the assistance of a sound activation using crystal singing bowls, kalimba, & chimes to simulate what we call the hypnogogic state--the place between waking consciousness and sleep. This experience will allow for participants to drop into this state and actively implement this recall practice, which is the most important step to develop in working with dreams.

During this introductory workshop, we will cover the following:

• Dream Recall - mindsets, practices, and suggestions to give you optimized chances for successful recall.
• Contemplations for Interpretations - dreams are meant for the eye of the beholder, thus it is only us that can determine their meaning, or lack thereof. Do dreams always have to have meaning? How can we develop discernment with this? We will discuss these concepts with practical and mystical examples.

• Lucidity within dreams - discussion and practices around becoming conscious within our dreams, at varying levels, and ways to enhance this potentiality.
• Skills for Emotional dreams - often we are met with confronting or even shocking material when we engage with our dreams. We will discuss skills to move through these emotions and ground back in to conscious waking reality.
• Integration Circle - we will have an opportunity to share a bit of essence of what we are taking away from this experience. This will be supported by light nourishment of fruit.

I had my first spiritual awakening when I was 17. During a nap, I had a dream where I advanced through progressive levels of 'lucidity' until I was engaged in a loving and present conversation with my late Grandfather. During this moment I realized in real-time I was dreaming... yet the dream continued! I was soon face to face with myself in a full length mirror. In that moment, I was experiencing real-time conscious control of my dream and held pure lucidity for at least a minute or two before I woke up.

Ever since then I knew there was more to consciousness than our normal waking realm. For the past 20+ years I've worked consistently with my dreams--developing techniques and systems for recall, recording, organizing, becoming wildly present with them, and working with their content.

I'm grateful to be able to share what I've learned on this incredibly magical journey with you.

Jeremy holds a degree in music education and has 11 years of teaching experience in 1:1 and group settings. He is a certified sound healer, as well as a certified integration coach to support those on the path of ceremonial and therapeutic Plant Medicines, or Earth Medicines--and facilitates and hosts retreats for those seeking to deepen their relationship with Earth Medicine.
