Family friendly community event to keep Drayton tidy and litter-free.Join us for the Drayton Litter Pick!
Date: Saturday 28th February 2026
Time: 10:00am - 11:00am (Refreshments served after the litter pick)
Location: Entrance to Florence Carter Memorial Park, School Road, NR8 6EF
Taverham & Drayton Litter Pickers are an inspiring group of volunteers who come together to make a difference by keeping the community clean.
These events are a great opportunity to meet new people, get outside and make a difference!
If you are not a keen litter picker, or would struggle to undertake this activity, we have many other ways that you can get involved! We often need help back at base! Everyone is invited!
START TIME: start at 10am, however please arrive from 9.45am.
MEETING POINT: Entrance to Florence Carter Memorial Park

NEAREST CAR PARK: There are limited spaces on site, on Pond Lane, in the Priscilla Bacon area (they are not responsible for your vehicle) and in the layby on Costessey Lane. Please do not park in the pub parking lots unless you plan on eating there as well.

END TIME: The litter pick is 1 hour in duration and ends at 11am, however we then have a group photo and have refreshments together after. Typically the whole event ends around 11:30am.
