About this Event
Whatever your role in a Norfolk charity, or community organisation, as an employee or volunteer, manager or trustee if you are leading people, or projects or just trying to balance the books you will probably be experiencing high levels of stress and anxiety which will be having a negative impact on your mental health.
There is help at hand. Norfolk charity, The Kearns Foundation is hosting a half day FREE workshop that will showcase senior high profile charity leaders being honest about their own challenges, will explore the science of stress and how to recognise and respond to it's harmful effects and share some solutions with expert listeners, as well as some self-help techniques.
The workshop is FREE to attend (Booking is essential) and is open to anyone within a leadership role in a Norfolk based charity or community organisation, in either a paid or voluntary position. It is particularly relevent to Trustees, people or project managers as well as those we see as traditional leaders and senior managers.
Leaders are expected to be leading, and coping, but many are struggling, with the impact of budget pressures, people and project management. This will be an honest space to listen and learn, without feeling obliged to share your own stories and a place where you can gain insight into helping not only those you lead, but also yourself, and indirectly your friends and familioes who are all impacted by your stress level and the implications it has on poor mental health.
