We are so excited to welcome Rick Lacey @ricklacey to teach this Fall at Cappella Studio,
September 10-12, 2026. Rick teaches at the esteemed Lyme Academy @lymeacademy in Connecticut. This will be Rick's second time teaching in Atlantic City, having previously taught at Union Hall Arts to a sold out class. He is a seasoned teacher of both teens and adults.
A student of his once commented that he learned more in two days with Rick than in four years at University. Rick will help you compose your pictures with a strong sense of intimacy and narrative.
Rick and @jimdessicino met each other working as assistants for MacArthur award winning artist Titus Kaphar. Rick also teaches at Titus' artist incubator space @__nxthvn__
