Drawing and Painting Class for Kids ages 8-12

Welcome to a drawing and painting class designed specifically for your K-2nd grader. Your child will learn the foundations of line, color, shape and texture and explore a world where painting and drawing come together to create amazing works of art. In this class, your child will unleash creativity using and combining myriad paints, colored pencils, markers and other materials on different types of papers and on canvas. Your child will learn how to mix and blend colors and create interesting textures to make their artwork unique and expressive. Every week we'll dive into fun projects that allow your children to experiment with different techniques and styles. Through hands-on activities and guided lessons, students will develop their own artistic skill set while discovering the joy of mixing colors, the thrill of creating patterns, and the satisfaction of bringing ideas to life on canvas and paper.

Whether your child is a budding Picasso or a blooming new artist who loves to explore new ways of making art, this drawing and painting class will provide ample opportunity to shine! All Materials are provided.
