In this workshop, Jay Balamurugan will run through how paleoartists reconstruct dinosaurs and other prehistoric life - from looking at the original fossils and skeletal diagrams to referencing modern animals and their behaviours and ecologies. By the end of the session, you will have illustrated an iconic extinct species!Jay is an TV producer, paleoartist, and science communicator, who has worked on landmark series at BBC Studios' Science Unit such as Earth, Walking with Dinosaurs, and Evolution - in this workshop, she will show you how science and art come together to bring extinct animals back to life.
