The Ice Cream & Bubbles Festival will bring more summer fun to Lake Pleasure Grounds (Weymouth Street, Warminster, BA12 9NP) on Saturday 1st August, with a free bubble disco and ice cream available to buy.
Ice cream options include gelato from The Cosy Cone, treats from Ice Queen Van, and Marshfield Farm Ice Cream from the Pavilion Parlour.
Milkshakes, doughnuts, crepes and strawberries will also be available, alongside food from John the Greek and Rocky’s Pizza and drinks from The Best Bar. The Pavilion Parlour will also be open throughout the day, serving refreshments.
Alongside the ice cream, visitors can enjoy pottery painting with Arty Kids, face painting from Hayley Spiller and henna tattoos from Taslima Designs. Popular skilled Bubbleologists ‘Squidge and Pop’ will perform an exciting bubble show as well as a brilliant Bubble Disco Finale.
Families can also enjoy the popular free facilities at Warminster Lake Pleasure Grounds, including the splash pad, play park and lava trail, and are encouraged to make a day of it by exploring everything the park and town have to offer including Roarminster: Warminster’s Dinosaur Trail.
Cllr Jack Jones, Mayor of Warminster, said: “The Ice Cream & Bubbles Festival is about bringing people together and creating a fun, memorable day for the community.
“Events like this showcase Warminster’s positive atmosphere and give families, local businesses and visitors a great opportunity to enjoy the town together. I am looking forward to another brilliant day.”
A Warminster Town Council spokesperson added: “We’re delighted to welcome back the Ice Cream & Bubbles Festival after its success in previous years. It is another free-to-enter event for all the family.
“We are proud to host another event in the wonderful Warminster Lake Pleasure Grounds and look forward to seeing everyone – lets make another great day for Warminster.”
Visitors can use nearby pay-and-display car parks, including Western car park and Chinns car park.
