Monday, February 23: DRAW!

The February edition of DRAW! will be hosted by Adam Melster of ACM Designs!

For close to a decade, Adam Melster has been sketching his way through new and daunting opportunities under the vaguely branded name, ACM Designs. His interests in freelance advertisements, compositional problem-solving, and grittily whimsical illustrations has cultivated a strangely diverse body of work. 

Starting through simple word of mouth and drawing almost every day, Adam has chased any shot and has luckily illustrated designs for several community members/organizations in the fashion, streetwear, and music industries such as; All Goods, Summerfest, the Milwaukee Makers Market, and quite a few more. You’ve probably seen him at a local art market as well, slinging prints and being chatty. During all of this, the integration and challenge of large scale mural work has been becoming more frequent on his calendar with pieces throughout the city, the most popular location being Black Cat Alley.

His own indie storytelling intrigues, fascination of cheesy blockbuster cinema, and love of comic book characters and artists alike encouraged a pursuit of illustrating his two self published and crowd funded graphic novels, “Saunter Ever Forward.” and “Shitty Wizard”.

REQUIREMENTS
• DRAW! at Dandy is a 21+ event.
• Dandy is also a bar, so no BYOB allowed.
• You will, however, need to BYO art supplies, whether pencil/paper or tablet.
