Still Life and Symbolism Painting Workshop: LOVE SPELLS

Join me (Christina!) for an in-person workshop in my art studio, where we will dive into the magical world of still life and symbolism painting. Explore how artists have used symbols for centuries to tell personal stories about love and life, history and more. Perfect for all skill levels—bring your creativity and let's cast some colorful love spells on canvas together!

In this workshop, we will be focusing on honoring and celebrating our relationship with ourselves. The subject matter we will be painting will all have symbolic meaning as the components and ingredients of a love spell - a love spell for self-love!

I will begin the workshop by giving a brief art history presentation on how symbolism has historically been used in still life painting, before explaining the items and significance we will be painting.

There will also be sometime for writing and reflection, before working on our 6×8” acrylic paintings on canvas panels (see second image for reference.)

This workshop is for all skill levels and for adults 18 and older.

Snacks, NA beverages, and all materials will be provided. (If there is anything you would like to bring to add to your still life painting, feel free! *As long as it is relatively small/tabletop size and won’t be obtrusive to the other guests.)
