An absurdist dark comedy from renowned director Stanley Kubrick starring Peter Sellers in three roles, Dr. Strangelove Or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb follows the fallout when a mad general initiates a nuclear strike on the Soviet Union. With the clock ticking on the impending strike, a war room of politicians, military leaders, and a Russian diplomat must find a way to stop it.This screening will be followed by a community conversation led by the Truman School of Government & Public Affairs exploring topics such as the legacy of the Cold War, militarization, and nuclear weapons.
Please note that FREE tickets for the public will be available at the Ragtag Box Office starting Thursday, May 28 at 12PM. No more than two free tickets will be given to one person.
