Maplewood Barn is excited to open our 53rd season: Hollywood Meets Broadway. Our first production of the season, Barefoot in the Park, is a classic romantic comedy by Neil Simon. This charming and witty play follows newlyweds Corie and Paul Bratter as they navigate the joys (and challenges) of starting a life together in a tiny fifth-floor New York City apartment. Filled with memorable characters, and relatable slices of life, this show is sure to make you laugh and find connection with the characters on stage.
Directed by Laura Howard, performances will be May 14–17 and 21–24. Don’t miss this fast-paced, laugh-filled look at love, compromise, and finding your footing—barefoot or otherwise!
The box office opens at 7 pm, and the show begins at 8 pm. There will also be concessions available for purchase at the box office through intermission of the show. Remember to pack a chair, your favorite blanket, and join us at the Barn for a night of theatre under the stars!
