The 33rd annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Luncheon will be held in the Peoria Civic Center Ballroom on January 20. The doors open at 11 a.m. and the event runs from Noon until 1:30 p.m.
The guest speaker is Naomi Tutu, daughter of Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
Tickets can be purchased on our website, www.mlkluncheon.com, or at Peoria City Hall in the City Clerk's Office, Room 401.
Her professional experience ranges from being a development consultant in West Africa, to being program coordinator for programs on Race and Gender and Gender-based Violence in Education at the African Gender Institute at the University of Cape Town.
