Dr. Ian Smith is the author of 30 books, including the #1 New York Times bestsellers Shred, Super Shred, Blast the Sugar Out, The Clean 20, and Fast Burn, with millions of copies in print.
Dr. Ian served as the solo host of the nationally syndicated Emmy Award-winning television show The Doctors and was a longtime medical contributor to The Rachael Ray Show. He is the creator and founder of the national health initiatives The 50 Million Pound Challenge and The Makeover Mile. Dr. Ian is the former medical correspondent for NBC News Network and The Today Show, and has appeared extensively on broadcasts, including The Oprah Winfrey Show, The View, and Anderson Cooper 360. He has written for publications like TIME, Newsweek, Men’s Fitness, and The New York Daily News. Dr. Ian served two terms under President Obama as a member of the President’s Council on Fitness, Health, and Nutrition.

Grammy-winning singer/songwriter, Kandi Burruss is an Emmy-nominated television icon, recently seen on the popular Showtime drama The Chi, Hulu’s Reasonable Doubt, and Prime’s The Underdoggs. A Tony-nominated and Drama League winning producer, she has spent the last several years working to bring compelling Black narratives to the Broadway stage. She’s brought her talents to the Broadway revival of Othello starring Denzel Washington and Jake Gyllenhaal, Thoughts of a Colored Man, The Piano Lesson, Chicago, and The Wiz. She is currently starring on Broadway in the popular musical &Juliet and will next bring her stage producing talents to the show Joe Turner’s Come and Gone starring Taraji P. Henson and debuting in March 2026.
