Dr Bell's Family Centre - Bumps and Bairns April - June 26

This group is only open to families living within EH6/EH7 with at least one child under 10 months. Everyone is welcome including single parents and partners.

Build support networks, make friends, and explore topics to suit your needs. The structure of our group is very informal, and the focus is for families to meet and socialise, you can still pop along to any session without needing to participate in the topic.

Upcoming dates include:

28/04/2026 - Take a moment just for you. Join us for a calming self-care session designed to help you unwind, chat, and feel refreshed. We’re exploring the idea of a mini pamper experience—with optional face masks, soothing vibes, and maybe even a little spa fun for the babies (think cute robes and cucumber eyes !). A perfect chance to slow down and connect with other parents.

05/05/2026 - Get creative and make something special to treasure! In this relaxed crafting session, you’ll create a lovely keepsake to remember this stage of your little one’s journey. just come along, have a chat, and enjoy making memories together.

12/05/2026 - Come along for a cosy catch-up at Turtle Dove! Join us for a cuppa, a chat, and a relaxed play session for the little ones. Easily accessible via the 21 bus, it’s the perfect midweek breather to connect with other parents in a welcoming space.

19/05/2026 - Stretch, bond, and have fun together in our gentle baby yoga session. This relaxed class supports your baby’s development while giving you both time to connect and unwind. No pressure, no expectations—just a lovely shared experience for you and your little one.

26/05/2026 - Starting solids? Join us for an informative and supportive session with Edinburgh Community Food. We’ll explore the weaning journey together, share tips, and build confidence around feeding your baby in a friendly, no-judgement space.

02/06/2026 - Curious about Raising Children with Confidence? Come along for a relaxed taster session led by Megan. A great opportunity to explore something new, ask questions, and see what it’s all about in a welcoming and supportive environment.

09/06/2026 - If the sun is shining, join us outdoors for a laid-back picnic and a joyful Bookbug session! Enjoy some fresh air, and let the little ones explore stories, songs, and playtime in a relaxed garden setting.

16/06/2026 - Join us as we celebrate all the amazing dads and father figures! A warm and welcoming session to connect, share, and recognise the important role dads play. Everyone is welcome—let’s make it special together.

23/06/2026 - Celebrate your baby’s first summer with us! Expect a fun, relaxed mini party with music, play, and plenty of smiles. A lovely way to mark the season, make memories, and enjoy time together with other families.
