Tuesdays, February 24 – April 28, 2026 - 6:30 to 8:30 pm: Citizen's Law Enforcement Academy We are now registering for our spring session of the Douglasville Police Department Citizens Law Enforcement Academy. Come learn how your police department works. The class teaches what officers do on a day-to-day basis. The class begins Tuesday, February 24, and we are currently accepting applications. All applicants need to be able to commit to attending the 10 sessions on Tuesday nights from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm. There is NO FEE for this class. You must be 18 years of age and give consent for a background check.
Dinner is provided.
