We're holding our favorite Volunteer Luncheon of the year - Valentine's Day themed! The event will be held on Thursday, February 12th, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at the historic Cultural Arts Center.
We will be hosting lunch, a volunteer information session, and a creative Valentines Day activity. Volunteering at the CAC is a great way to make a positive difference in our town while also meeting fellow art enthusiasts.
CAC volunteers answer the phone, register students for art classes, take reservations for upcoming events, answer questions about the community for visitors and tourists, provide information on our exhibitions and the historic, Roberts-Mozley house, help with mailings and program promotions, and assist the staff with everyday operations of the Cultural Arts Council.
Volunteers can also sign up to help with one of the many annual events hosted by the CAC. Events with volunteer opportunities include but are not limited to: The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, the Chili Cookoff, and the Taste of Douglasville festival in downtown Douglasville. Join the CAC Staff on Thursday, February 12th at 11:30 am to find out how you can be a part of something bigger and contribute to elevating the arts in Douglas County.
