Ages: 5-Adult
Cost: $60 morning session, $80 afternoon session (includes clinic and stock fees)
*10am-12pm: The morning session will begin with the basics of goat tying. This session will be groundwork without horses. You will start off working with basic ties, flanking, and running up. If you have never tied before or are new to goat tying, this session is for you. We only have 10 spots available for this session.
*12:45 - 3pmish: Afternoon session is ONLY for those who are tying from horseback (ages 8 and up). This session is to practice dismounts, running up, flanking, and tying properly. Participants must already be able to tie and be able to mount and dismount on their own. You must have your own horse for the afternoon session.
One of the main errors we see with goat tyers is an improper step off and flank. Your step off is a very important part of getting a better time, as is proper flanking! We only have 12 spots available for each session. We will be using dummy goats and live goats. MAKE SURE you indicate morning, afternoon, or both when you sign up!
Parents, please know your younger children’s attention span. They do need to be able to concentrate.
**Needed equipment: Goat tie. You may purchase one from a Western store, an online store, or buy one from us at the clinic. Proper footwear is required for the afternoon session! Participants will need cowboy boots! Please be aware of the temperature and dress appropriately.

***Make sure you include the following information with payment:
Participant’s Name, Date of Birth, and an email address (that you check often), AND IF THEY ARE RIGHT-OR LEFT-HANDED!
Please indicate if they will be participating in the morning session, the afternoon session, or both!
Spots are on a first-come, first serve.
***No refunds unless you have a doctor's note! Once the clinic is full, we will start a waiting list.
*ALL participants will need a release form! If PARENT or LEGAL, COURT APPOINTED GUARDIAN CANNOT ATTEND, the form will need to be signed AND Notarized by one of the above. Please email us if you need a form in advance!
If a parent or legal guardian is attending, the release form may be signed at the clinic. Participants must have the correct form to participate in the clinic!
If we Cancel the clinic, a full refund will be issued.
