Dover Firefighters Charitable Association Slow Pitch Softball Tournament

Dover Firefighter Charitable Association is hosting our first ever slow pitch softball tournament! All proceeds will go to MDA!
Team Requirements:
Maximum roster: unlimited
10 players minimum
Minimum of 3 female players on every team
Team can bat 12 players
Players may only play on one team

Tournament Format:
12 Teams
Double Elimination
Championship game:
Winners bracket champion vs losers bracket champion
If the losers bracket team wins game 1, a second championship game will be played
Game Rules:
Pitching:
Slow-pitch arc: 6-10 feet
Any legal mat/strike zone used by umpires
Balls & Strikes:
1-1 count to begin each at-bat (one courtesy foul after two strikes)
Home Runs:
5 max per team per game
Courtesy Runners:
Unlimited courtesy runners
Runner must be last recorded out
Time Limit:
60 minutes
No new inning after 50 minutes
Championship game has no time limit
Mercy Rule:
20 after 3
15 after 4
10 after 5
Extra Innings:
International tiebreaker: last record out begins on second base
Forfeited Games:
Winning team automatically gets score of 7-0
