About this Event

Join Danielle in person at Aplomb Gallery or virtually. We'll explore color relationships, mixing, value, and temperature with watercolor technique exercises that explore balance, contrast, and harmony. This class is perfect for anyone who wants to better understand color while enjoying a relaxing, creative painting process.

Suggested materials: (or use Aplomb's for $15) Graphite pencil (H or HB), gum eraser, watercolor paints in primary colors, watercolor brushes (small round, medium flat, large flat and watercolor paper 90-120 lb cold press(textured) or hot press(smooth). About the instructor: Danielle Festa has over 20 years experience as an art instructor and feels it is important to create a supportive and creative learning enviroment. Danielle has been painting hyper-realist portraits with mixed media fabric elements since graduating with a BFA from UMASS Amherst in 2007.
