An overnight summer camp event for doulas! Join new friends and old for two days of community, relaxation, learning and fun!
I'm doing this old school to keep costs down (and therefore camper fees down). Payments of $99.75 ($95+GST) can be sent to [email protected] by e-transfer . Space is limited, as there is a max building capacity.

Doula Summer Camp 2026!
Come relax, learn, eat and drink, lounge in the pool, and have a generally wonderful time with other doulas.
Doula summer camp leaves all the possibilities open. There will be ceremony and learning with Lesley Everest of Motherwit Doula Care and Adriana Lozada of the Birthful Podcast. There will be a pool to lounge in. There will be opportunities for hiking and campfire time (if there is no ban in place). However, none of it is mandatory. These two days are for you, and you may use them however you like.
The event will run 10am on July 7 to 1pm on July 8. A schedule of learning and ceremony events will be posted at a later date, with attendance at these events being optional. We will also have a doula library sale where doulas new and old can come find new books and goodies for the doula bag with all proceeds of the sale going to the Birthing Families Foundation.
If your idea of a good time is floating in a (very well heated) pool - we got you.
If it's creating community with other local doulas and networking - this is the BEST way to do it.
If it's deepening your doula practice and gaining new insight from highly experienced doulas - we have some fantastic speakers.
If it's drinking wine and playing Cards Against Humanity - that will be available as well.
Are you outdoorsy? The hiking right from the doorstep is phenomenal.
While Camp Capilano feels like it's out in the middle of nowhere, it's actually only 5 minutes from the Lions Gate Bridge and you get full cell reception. This event is on-call friendly for Vancouver area doulas.
Refund policy: no refunds, but exchanges are allowed. If you sell your spot to someone else, please email [email protected] so I can update my list.
There will be some shared potluck meals. Please join the Red Panties Retreat group on Facebook for potluck sign-up (coming in June 2026).
