Double Trouble: SBD & HEW Hosted by: Sammie & Mike
About this Event
This event is hosted by: Sammie Cruz, and Mike Bridge, in part with a slew of sponsors, to host a double fitness event.
You can choose to participate in one or both events.
Part 1: HEW Fitness workout of the day led by Sammie Cruz.
- This workout will be 3 rounds for time and is posted in the agenda section.
- WINNER: 1 female and 1 male RX & 1 female and 1 male scaled.
Part 2: Powerlifting meet led by Mike Bridge.
- It will include a 1-rep max on the Squat, Bench, and Deadlift.
- It will also inclue an AMRAP (as many reps as possible for each lift variation) weight will be 225 for men, and 95lbs for women on each lift. 60 second timer per contestant.
- We will have prizes for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place male and female for each lift.
Rules for Powerlifting meet portion:
- Bench: Wraps, elbow sleeves, and belts allowed. Must be full range of motion, clean form, no ego bench form allowed. 3 rep warm up to max. One back up rep at max if failed within 30 seconds.
- Squat: Wraps, sleeves, belts, platform shoes allowed. Must be full range of motion, clean form, thighs parallel with floor. 3 rep warm up to max. One back up rep at max if failed within 30 seconds
- Deadlift: Wraps, sleeves, and belts allowed. Must be full range of motion, full lockout required. 3 rep warm up to max. One back up rep at max if failed within 30 seconds.
