The Seated Social: An Intentional Brunch for Black Women

The Seated Social is a brunch designed to do something simple but hard to find—curate a space for Black women to have nourishing conversations with other Black women.

Rather than a networking event or a mixer, it's a seat at the table that attracts like-minded women. Think conversations that stretch you, affirm you, and remind you that you’re not the only one in life figuring it out.

With only eight available seats, the space stays intimate, warm, and thoughtfully curated. There will be playful touches woven throughout the brunch, and complimentary wine cards available for each guest to sample 1-2 wines of their choosing.

After you purchase your ticket, check your email for a confirmation message from Eventbrite with a link to a short vibe questionnaire that will gather snapshots of your personality, conversation style, and how you show up in a group. From there, your seat is assigned—intentionally.

Who this event is for:

• Black women who enjoy conversational depth
• Black women who value emotional intelligence and self‑growth
• Black women who are open-minded and curious about how other women are elevating

Conversations on the table, but not limited to:

• Black Women & Rest – slowing down without guilt
• Self‑Trust – intuition, decision‑making, and inner alignment
• Reinvention – exploring new or unconventional paths
• Emotional Maturity – communication, boundaries, and self‑awareness

You may walk away with a new perspective, feeling refreshed, or having met someone who just gets it. Either way, you’ll leave feeling like you spent your Sunday exactly where you were supposed to be, with the right people across the table.

Wandering Black Girls Club is a space for Black women who want to explore and connect because, truthfully, they don't know how to get started!

As someone living in South Florida, I’ve struggled to find group activities or organizations that both match my interests and have Black women in them. Making friends as an adult is already hard enough.

So instead of hitting more dead ends, I decided to create the space I’ve been looking for. We bring together Black women 25yrs of age and up who are in a similar struggle—you want to go out, try new things, and enjoy spaces with new faces, but you’re stuck in that “I don’t know” phase and end up doing nothing. Come wander with us!
