Brendan Wise is devoted to the study of the horse in the Classical tradition. He combines his experience in horsemanship and western working disciplines with his constant study and application of the teachings of the Classical Masters. Kaleigh Marie helps others discover the power of connection through clinics, lessons, and demonstrations that improve relationships, communication, and levels of performance both from the ground, at liberty, and under saddle. Her main areas of focus are equine behavior, liberty work and bridleless riding, classical dressage, and positive reinforcement. (www.braveheartbeasts.com)
The collaborative clinic runs for 3 days and is a combination of a group session in the morning without horses followed by one-on-one sessions with each participant. Each day starts at 9am and runs until 5pm or so each day, with a break at midday for lunch.
Each participant will have two sessions per day, one with Brendan focused on ridden work and one with myself focused on groundwork spaced appropriately throughout the day. Ridden sessions can focus on bridleless riding, dressage, jumping and groundwork sessions can be focused on groundwork, liberty work, trick training, and clicker training.
The clinic is limited to 8 participants. Auditors are welcome at $25/day or $60/weekend. Please bring your own chair.
The cost is $900 per person paid in full when you reserve your spot.
There are stalls available at Heritage Farm (10 minutes from Starwind Farm) for $40/night. Bedding is provided.
Participants can trailer in each day. There is ample parking.
