Dot Cake Making

This is a hands-on workshop focused on the viral dessert trend of crafting individual, spoonable cakes in cups (not to be confused with cupcakes). Students learn how to build, frost, and completely pave the top of their cakes with colorful, crunchy rainbow nonpareil sprinkles. Participants will punch out circles of cake, layer them into individual craft cups with homemade buttercream, and smooth the tops perfectly. The most famous technique taught in this class is dipping the frosted, cup-sized cakes upside down into a pan of dot sprinkles (nonpareils) for a dense, edge-to-edge coating! Each student will make 6 dot cakes to bring home to share with family and friends. All supplies are included. Pre registration is required. Space is limited. Class tuition is not refundable.
