About this Event

NOWHERE brings together dot-art Artist Members , and in an exhibition exploring landscapes of nowhere in particular.

The works in NOWHERE celebrate gesture, texture, colour and materiality. Drawing on fragments of memory, traces of lived experience and entirely imagined terrains, each artist constructs landscapes that exist somewhere between recognition and invention.

Although each artist works with distinct materials and methods, they share a process of continual making and unmaking. Surfaces are built, disrupted and reworked through layering, scratching back, erasure and reconstruction until something unexpected emerges. Familiar environments dissolve into abstract spaces that feel both recognisable and impossible to locate.

Whether drawn to abstraction, landscape or the physical language of materials and mark-making, NOWHERE invites visitors to slow down, look closely and discover places that exist beyond geography.

creates atmospheric works inspired by remembered landscapes, from the woods of Liverpool to the mountains of Taiwan and the coastlines of Ireland. Working in oil and cold wax, she builds richly layered surfaces by scraping, dissolving and revealing previous marks, creating quiet, contemplative works that evoke the essence of place rather than its literal appearance.

occupies the space between abstraction and representation. His intuitive process allows each work to evolve organically through successive layers, with colour and form gradually suggesting landscapes and associations without ever fully defining them. The resulting works feel simultaneously familiar and unknown.

explores landscape as memory, trace and residue. Working with spray paint, ink, ash and charcoal, Mikki constructs surfaces through accumulation and erasure, allowing images to continually emerge, disappear and reform. The works remain in a constant state of becoming, testing perception while evoking landscapes that linger like afterimages.

All artworks are for sale.

Exhibition continues Friday 4th September - Saturday 17th October.

VISIT: Tuesday - Saturday, 10:00 - 18:00
