Doors Open Day 2026 - Print Studio Tours
About this Event
As part of this years Doors Open Day we're delighted to open the doors to the Peacock print studio.
Free mini studio tours on Saturday from 10am, 11am, 2pm, 4pm.
Since 1974, Peacock - a workshop for art has supported thousands of artists in the production of artworks, ranging from prints to video works, photography, performance and site-specific public installations; reconfiguring the relationship between the artist, the artwork and the audience. Facilities include a screen printing studio and relief printing studio as well as a laser cutter and vinyl cutter.
Access:
-Historic building with no lift.
-Wheelchair access to ground floor studio (relief printing).
-No wheelchair access to 1st floor studio (screen-printing, communal kitchen)
-Toilets are on the ground floor. Handrails added for support however it is not a fully accessible toilet.
-All the lanes around Peacock are cobbled and can be slippery. If using a wheelchair or other mobility aids, a slightly smoother pathway can be found from King Street and along the side of St Andrew Cathedral.
