Doors Open Days Aberdeenshire 2026 – Save the Date!We’re excited to announce that Doors Open Days will return on 19th–20th September 2026, offering free access to fascinating buildings, heritage sites, and community spaces across Aberdeenshire.
This year’s European Heritage Days theme is “Heritage at Risk” - shining a spotlight on vulnerable buildings, landscapes, traditions and cultural practices, and the work being done to protect them for future generations.
We’re now looking for new venues, activities, demonstrations and guided tours to join the 2026 programme. Whether you’re a business, community group, heritage organisation or simply know a great place worth sharing, we’d love to hear from you.
