DON’T DO THAT ON THE GOLF COURSE! Golf Etiquette for Women
About this Event
Former LPGA Teaching Professional turned Realtor, Lindsey Tursi created Fairway Advantage to help more women confidently say yes to golf opportunities, whether that means joining a work event, networking on the course, practicing on their own, or simply enjoying the game with friends.
DON’T DO THAT ON THE GOLF COURSE!
Golf has a lot of written and unwritten rules, and somehow you’re just supposed to know them.
Where do you go when you arrive? What should you know before heading to the practice area? Where should you stand when someone else is hitting? Who goes first? Where can you drive the cart? What happens if you’re playing too slowly?
And how are you supposed to know any of this if no one has ever taught you?
That’s what this class is for.
We’ll break down what to do and what NOT to do when you go to a golf course, making it easier for you to walk onto a course for the first time, whether you’re there to practice, joining a golf event, or getting ready to play your first round.
We’ll cover navigating the practice areas, checking in, pace of play, where to stand, when to hit, golf carts, taking care of the course, basic etiquette, and those unwritten rules nobody bothered to tell you.
You don’t need to know everything about golf before you show up. That’s the whole point.
