Don't Call It a Snapback
About this Event
You're invited to Nourish + Forme: Don't Call It a Snapback — a curated wellness experience designed for Black mothers navigating the evolving relationship with their bodies after motherhood.
From social media to celebrity culture, we're often told that healing should happen quickly and that our bodies should return to a previous version of themselves on someone else's timeline.
We believe there is another way.
This gathering centers on realistic expectations, self-compassion, and reconnecting with your body through movement, nourishment, and community.
A moment to release the pressure to "bounce back."
A moment to honor where you are today.
A moment to reconnect with yourself.
What to Expect
Movement — An all-levels Pilates class with Jade designed to help you reconnect with your body through intentional movement, strength, and self-trust.
Education — A restorative core session led by a pelvic health physical therapist focused on breathwork, core activation, and realistic healing expectations after motherhood.
Nourishment — Seasonal refreshments and thoughtful conversation in community.
Holistic Wellness — Ear Seed Therapy with Dr. Jasmine Walton, DAOM, LAc, a gentle wellness practice rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine designed to support relaxation, stress management, and overall wellbeing.
Self-Discovery — Applied Astrology Readings with Tiffany Leonardo, offering personalized insight into your strengths, growth opportunities, health and self-care, or upcoming life transitions.
Community — Space to connect with other mothers, share experiences, and remember that healing was never meant to happen alone.
This is where wellness becomes less about returning to who you were and more about honoring who you are becoming.
